(Reuters Photo)AUCKLAND: Vote counts on Saturday night in New Zealand's general election showed Prime Minister Bill English's National Party ahead but not by enough to form a government without help from other parties. Still, the results will be pleasing to the National Party, which is seeking a fourth consecutive term in office. And they offer some redemption to English, who led his party to its worst-ever defeat in 2002. With more than three-quarters of the vote counted, the National Party was winning 46% of the vote, Ardern's Labour Party had 36%, the New Zealand First Party 7% and the Green Party 6%.
